Everything I Wore This Week Volume 15.0
Sporty meets sparkly, color takes the wheel, and every outfit tells a story.
Hi, it's your favorite over-accessorizer back with another week of outfits!
This edition is bursting with color explosions and my current obsession: blending sporty pieces with feminine touches. Plus, you'll get to see what I wore while celebrating some of the amazing moms in my life (brunch outfit included, obviously!).
Consider this your weekly dose of style experimentation with a side of 'yes, you can wear that together.

☕ Monday
Mood: Sporty sunshine meets vintage whimsy
Wearing: Abercrombie & Fitch Ribbed Collared Cardigan, Black Adidas Satin Track Pants, Missoma Ripple Oversized Stud Earrings, Daisy Brooch, Missoma Peace and Love Jelly Heart, Aritzia Yellow Cami, Missoma Open Heart Signet Ring, Yellow Mules
Introducing what I'm dubbing my "botanical track star" ensemble. That buttery cardigan brings warmth to Monday meetings while those striped Adidas bottoms keep me ready for whatever chaos the week throws my way. I paired a barely-there buttery yellow cami underneath because layering is my love language. The daisy brooch? Pure impulse. But sometimes the more accessories the better.
Speaking of accessories, I also added my Missoma Rippled earrings because regular hoops felt too predictable, and finished with yellow block-heeled mules that say "I'm practical but refuse to be boring." Practically lived in this outfit running between coffee meetings and deadlines. The unexpected combo of athletic pants with daintier pieces is my current fixation.
Mixing sporty and feminine is one of my favorite ways to style clothes.

🍊 Tuesday
Mood: Y2K denim meets color-pop accessories
Wearing: Madewell Boxy-Crop Button-Up Shirt, Black Cargo Pants, Chartreuse Mules, Olga Berg Alejandra Embellished Top Handle, Betsey Johnson Heart Earrings, Missoma Gold Open Heart Signet Ring, Missoma Gold Box Link Double Chain Necklace
Channeled major early 2000s energy with this cropped denim situation, because apparently what goes around comes back with pocket detailing. Those black cargo pants? Purely practical rebellion against skinny anything. I know skinny jeans are coming back, and while I'm not against it, I just don't know if I will be running to embrace the trend. I like my jeans on the baggier side. Thankyouverymuch.
The accessories did the heavy lifting here. Heart medallion earrings bringing serious art gallery opening vibes while that lavender micro-bag with crystal embellishment carried exactly one lip gloss and plenty of compliments. Slipped into those apple-green pointed mules because neutrals felt criminal with this outfit. The subtle gold necklace layering kept things from veering into full costume territory.
Wore this for an afternoon of thrift shopping and attempting to get strangers to try out cargo pants again (not really, but I would!). Consider this my formal petition to bring back 2003's greatest hits... minus the low-rise tragedy.

🌷 Wednesday
Mood: “Forgot to out of pajamas’ is the Mood
Whoops!
⛳ Thursday
Mood: Faux nostalgia meets boardroom rebellion
Wearing: Abercrombie & Fitch Green Bay Packers Tee, Emerald Blazer, Black Bike Shorts, Mustard Yellow Block Heel Mules, Square Pearl Statement Stud Earrings, Missoma Filia Double Chain Necklace
Wednesday's ensemble I'm calling "executive suite meets sideline supporter." Scored this Packers tee from one of Abercrombie's tee shirt drops. Their vintage wash perfectly mimicking decades of cheesehead devotion without the actual decades of waiting. Strategically layered that emerald blazer overtop, creating instant meeting-ready credibility while maintaining my allegiance to Sunday traditions.
Those high-waisted bike shorts? Pure genius for transitioning from morning presentation to lunch walk without a wardrobe change. Just maybe have some tennis shoes in your drawer at the office, however if you want to power walk in mules, you go for it!
Accessorized with my favorite architectural pearl drop earrings that whisper "trust fund adjacent" while my mustard suede mules add the perfect splash of contrasting color theory. The delicate gold chain kept things from feeling too calculated.
This outfit proves my theory that you can infiltrate corporate America with team spirit if you just add shoulder pads and pearls.

🌈 Friday
Mood: Canadian tuxedo meets art gallery opening
Wearing: Klassy White Cotton Tee Brami, Abercrombie & Fitch Mid Rise Barrel Jean, Charlotte Stone Lenu Kortman Heels, Chunky Necklace, Yellow Fringe Earrings, Blue Alligator Print Purse, Oversized Denim Jacket, Statement Scarf
Friday's ensemble I'm dubbing "supportive aunt with fashion credentials." Crafted this double denim situation specifically for my niece's dance recital. Where the dress code is ambiguous, but the feelings are strong. Those voluminous wide-leg jeans gave me optimal comfort for auditorium seating while that oversized jacket provided crucial layer options for unpredictable theater temperature swings. The pristine white tee underneath keeps things from going full 2001 Britney-Justin territory (however I still love that iconic look so much).
Those rainbow block mules though? Pure joy magnets. The caramel fringe earrings catch light with every proud-aunt head nod while that substantial chain necklace offers something shiny to break up the white tee. My blue structured bag barely fits the bouquet receipt, emergency hair ties, and three types of candy bribes. Nothing says "I'm the cool relative who has her life together" quite like deliberately coordinated denim with surprise pops of color.

🏆 Saturday
Mood: Earth tones with gallery-worthy accents
Wearing: Brown Barrel Jeans, Brown Tube Top, Blue and White Striped Button Up, Brown Mules, Blue Alligator Print Purse, Missoma Savi Pearl Gemstone Beaded Necklace, ‘K’ Necklace, Statement Scarf, Missoma Ripple Oversized Stud Earrings
As you all know, I've been embracing the chocolate renaissance for a while now. I love a monochromatic moment that feels both nostalgic and surprisingly fresh. The real conversation piece? That abstract silk scarf, deliberately chosen to inject color theory into an otherwise earthy palette. Like stumbling upon wildflowers in a forest clearing.
My gold Missoma shell-like earrings add architectural interest while catching afternoon light at precisely the right angles. Layered my gold ‘K’ necklace for subtle sentimentality along with my Missoma black and white Savi necklace. I did add a blue and white striped button up to add a little dimension as well as a coverup in case it was freezing in the restaurant, which tends to happen to me.
That light blue mini bag creates deliberate contrast against the warm palette (also practically fits nothing but looks fantastic). Slipped into my brown mules that somehow survived being biked in (my fashion choices will NOT be compromised for mere practicality, thank you very much) while still delivering that perfect blend of walkability and sophistication. I wore this for pizza night at one of the fantastic restaurants in town with family where we then went back and played our favorite game: Mexican Train Dominos.
Monochrome doesn't have to feel one-dimensional when texture and proportion do the heavy lifting.

💌 Sunday
Mood: Coastal globetrotter with supposed heirloom jewelry
Wearing: Zara Patchwork Print Maxi Dress, Gap Cropped Denim vest, Missoma Filia Double Chain Necklace, Missoma Box Link Double Chain Necklace, Missoma Square Pearl Statement Stud Earrings, Red Quilted Crossbody, Nude Block Heel Sandals
Sunday's Mother's Day statement I'm labeling "bohemian diplomat with vintage sensibilities." This patchwork print maxi dress carries serious jet-setter energy—like I might have a story about discovering it in a Mediterranean coastal town even though it's actually from Zara. Layered that cropped denim button-up vest overtop to bring some structure and prevent full fortune-teller vibes. Those pearl square earrings add unexpected polish while catching compliments from every mother at brunch. The layered gold chains create necessary negative space against the print explosion below. That punchy red crossbody bag echoes the dress's crimson elements while providing just enough storage for lipstick, my cell, and a few other necessities.
The neutral block heels keep things grounded when the outfit is already doing maximum talking. Wore this for Mother's Day festivities and received plenty of compliments on it.

✨ Wrap-Up
This week was a kaleidoscope of style experiments! I played with unexpected combinations. Sporty pieces softened with feminine touches, denim mainstays reimagined in fresh ways, and (obviously) my usual color explosion therapy. The mixing and matching felt particularly satisfying. Like creating tiny wearable art projects each morning.
Each week I’m reminded why I love these style diaries. Getting dressed each day has become both a creative outlet and a mood lifter. Even on the mornings where I just want to stay in pajamas, taking those few minutes to consider color combinations or unexpected pairings gives me a boost of energy, along with a little spark of joy before diving into whatever the day has for me. There's something powerful about expressing yourself through clothing, even when the only audience is your laptop camera and the grocery store clerk.
