Everything I Wore This Week Volume 13.0
Joyful chaos, outfits with opinions, and a quiet reminder that one day, we won’t be able to do this anymore.
Dressing like joy is the goal. Movement, color, comfort, and just enough chaos to feel like myself.
This week, between running to appointments, throwing the ball for Weaver in the pool, biking downtown to work, and trying to soak in every bit of good weather—I kept thinking about something I wrote in my latest blog: one day, we won’t be able to do this anymore. Getting dressed. Moving freely. Showing up fully. So I leaned in. To color. To texture. To outfits that made me feel a little more awake than I actually was.
Here’s what I wore, why I wore it, and a reminder to wear the thing while you still can.

🚧 Monday
Mood: Construction-core meets brunch glam.
Wearing: TNA orange cargo pants (similar) with matching TNA orange muscle tank (similar), Everlane’s The Must-Have Oxford Shirt, Snakeskin Print Slip-On Mules (similar), and glittery silver earrings (because, why not?)
I’m calling this look “foreman on the clock, cool aunt off the clock.” The high-vis orange cargo pants are a bold move, but honestly? They’ve earned their place in the regular rotation. Paired them with an oversized striped button-down that makes me feel like I might own a small sailboat or at least know someone who does.
Snakeskin sandals for flair, because I refuse to choose between being practical and being a little extra. I wore this to run errands, brainstorm over coffee, and pretend I didn’t have three unread texts from people that I needed to get back to ASAP. This is what happens when I channel main character energy in the middle of the week. Highly recommend.

Heads up: These exact pants are sold out, but I linked a Google search so you can track them down secondhand (Poshmark has a bunch!).
✨ Tuesday
Mood: When in doubt, add sparkle
Wearing: Everlane Way High Black Denim Jeans, Black Bodysuit, Oversized Denim Jacket, Sam Edelman Metallic Loafers, Polka Dot Sheer Socks, Missoma Ridge Oversized Earrings, Gold and Silver Western Necklace
This was one of those mornings where I stood in my closet, stared into the void, and thought, “Black and denim it is.” But instead of letting it stop there, I played up the accessories: polk dot sheer socks, silver loafers with gold accents, and a necklace that could double as a family heirloom or costume jewelry depending on the lighting.
The base outfit is simple—black sleeveless bodysuit and barrel-leg jeans—but it’s the kind of blank canvas I love because it makes room for personality. Like socks you can only see if you’re looking, or shoes that are objectively too shiny for my errands but perfect for my mood.
Also: if a denim jacket makes every outfit cooler, then this acid-washed one is basically a chill pill in jacket form.

📣 Wednesday
Mood: Varsity Vibes, Grown-Up Edition
Wearing: Abercrombie & Fitch Two-Toned Barrel Jeans (similar), Klassy Network Solid Crew Neck Braless T-Shirt, Vintage Bomber Jacket, Layered Silver Necklaces, Snakeskin Print Slip-On Mules, Missoma Hera Dome Double Ridge Medium Hoops
This look started with the jeans—because when in doubt, I grab these wide-leg panel jeans and build around them. They’re equal parts comfy and architectural, which is kind of the vibe I go for when I have meetings and want to look like I might DJ on the weekends.
Topped it off with my favorite maroon satin bomber (vintage AND a family heirloom), which gives just the right amount of ‘80s gym teacher but make it fashion. The layered chain necklaces were my nod to “I have range,” and the snakeskin heels said, “Don’t get too comfortable—I still have opinions.”
It’s the kind of outfit that makes strangers say “cute jacket” and close friends say “this feels very you today.” That’s always my sweet spot.

🪩 Thursday
Mood: Camo, but make it disco.
Wearing: TNA Camo Cargo Pants, Aritzia Original Contour Ravish Top, Charlotte Stone Lenu Kortman Mules, Missoma Jelly Heart Gemstone Charm Necklace, Gold Heart Earrings, Olga Berg Alejandra Embellished Top Handle
Let the record show: I was exhausted. Like, “Is this lighting or just my face?” levels of tired. But I had things to do and two pieces in my closet waiting for their moment—so I rallied.
I hadn’t worn these camo pants in a while, but they deserved a comeback. They’re loud, a little unhinged, and perfect for the kind of day where you need your outfit to do some emotional heavy lifting. I paired them with my rainbow woven heels (still giving Lisa Frank goes vintage) and topped it off with a new off-the-shoulder number that made me feel like a modern sculpture with somewhere to be.
This look powered me through work, a facial with my friend Jayme, and dinner at Cala—because when the outfit hits, you take it on tour.
Moral of the story: bring the pants out of retirement. Wear the new top. Go to dinner tired.

👑 Friday
Mood: Patchwork Princess with a Pop of Red
Wearing: Patchwork Print Midi Dress, Madewell Boxy-Crop Button-Up Shirt, Missoma Filia Double Chain Necklace, Missoma Square Pearl Statement Earrings, Missoma Open Heart Signet Ring, Vintage Masonic Ring, Red Mesh Flats
This outfit was basically my version of a grown-up field trip look—comfortable enough to move through the day, but with enough personality to make someone stop and ask, “Where’d you get that dress?” The patchwork slip dress is one of those pieces that does all the work for you, so I threw a cropped denim shirt over it to give it a little structure (and a little less shoulder sun).
And let’s talk about the shoes: red mesh flats that are part whimsical, part practical, and a whole lot of fun. I added a few favorite accessories—my favorite rings, a layered gold chain, and pearl earrings that make me feel fancier than I am.
This was a day of work and must-get-done errands, like getting my hair done (which was non-negotiable) with my favorite, Rachel Haney (if you’re in the Scottsdale/Gilbert area—I HIGHLY recommend her). Proof that feeling put-together doesn’t have to mean dressing down.

🚲 Saturday
Mood: Biker Shorts, But Make It Bold
Wearing: Farm Rio Colorful Button Down, Maroon Biker Shorts, Adidas Blue Gazelles, Blue Chunky Necklace, Blue Alligator Print Purse (similar), Benefit Gogo Lip Tint
I told you I had ideas for wearing this shirt with biker shorts—just had to wait for the right weather (and the right mood). This shirt is basically wearable art, so I tied it up, paired it with my burgundy biker shorts, and let the prints do the talking.
The vintage energy of the button-up plus the sporty, errand-ready base made me feel like I could go from farmer’s market to gallery opening with zero outfit changes. My go-to Adidas Gazelles kept it grounded, and I added a chunky iridescent necklace because neutral accessories felt like a missed opportunity.
And yes—I did actually go biking in this. Form met function, and neither had to compromise.

⚽️ Sunday
Mood: Sporty Spice, but Chill (I reallllllly like my Spice Girls)
Wearing: Addidas Track Satin Flair Pants, Oversized Black Tee, Puma Velophasis, Missoma Ridge Heart Charm Pendant Necklace, Missoma Box Link Double Chain Necklace, Missoma Open Heart Signet Ring, Bombas Vintage Stripe Half Calf Sock
This is what I throw on when I want to look like I’m training for something—but really I’m just training myself to leave the house before noon. The wide-leg Adidas track pants are chef’s kiss comfortable, and the black tee kept things easy. I layered on my usual gold jewelry because I like my loungewear with a little sparkle.
The real MVPs here? My Puma sneakers—colorful, comfy, and made for the kind of walking that accidentally turns into a full-on errand marathon. This look also doubled as my travel-day fit, which means it passed the test of sitting, standing, sprinting for a coffee, and lounging like a pro.
Consider it a reminder that sometimes, the best outfit is the one that lets you move and breathe.

🧷 Wrap-Up
This week reminded me why I even started doing these roundups in the first place. Getting dressed isn’t just about looking good—it’s about presence. It’s about reminding myself, I’m here. And that’s something I talked about in my latest blog post:
“One Day, We Won’t Be Able to Do This Anymore”.
Because the truth is—our bodies, our energy, even our weird little routines—aren’t guaranteed forever. One day, we won’t be able to float in the pool, bike downtown, dance in the kitchen, or wear butterfly heels just because they make us smile.
But today? We still can.
So this roundup isn’t just about outfits—it’s about showing up. About choosing joy in the form of red mesh flats or a disco-shirt–meets–bike shorts moment. About treating Monday like a special occasion and wearing the sequins now.

Until next time: wear the outfit. Take the photo (trust me—there are a few in this post where I look tired, but one day I’ll be glad I have them). Float in the pool.
Because one day, we won’t be able to do this anymore.
But today—we still can.

Kiley

One Day, We Won’t Be Able to Do This Anymore
The thought hit me in the pool the other day—unexpected, a little haunting, and weirdly motivating:
