Everything I Wore This Week Volume 12.0
A week of real outfits, real thoughts, and a renewed commitment to wearing what makes me feel most like me—statement earrings, chaotic prints, and all.
Everything I Wore This Week
Hi, it’s me. Back with another week of outfits and lots of pops of color!
This one was a bit of a blur: early mornings spent working on some new projects and a minor identity crisis somewhere between my inbox and the mirror. My wardrobe had to pull triple duty—comfort for work-from-home life, style for riding my bike downtown, and enough personality to still feel like me in the middle of it all.
Just a quick heads-up: some links in this post are affiliate links, which means I may earn a small commission if you click and purchase—at no extra cost to you. I only link to pieces I personally own or ones that closely match the vibe. I also do my best to support small businesses and brands with strong DEI values or sustainability practices. If you ever spot something that feels off, I always appreciate a heads-up.
Here’s everything I wore, why I wore it, and what I’m learning from getting dressed on purpose.
🏈 Monday
Mood: Game Day, But Make It Fashion
Wearing: Abercrombie & Fitch Kansas City Chiefs Tee, Black High-Waisted Barrel Jeans, Braided Black Belt with Gold Buckle, Chunky Chain Necklace, Gold and Silver Western Necklace, Gold Heart Studs, Mustard Yellow Block Heel Mules
To be honest, I originally bought this Chiefs tee just to match a pair of shoes I already had—and no, I have no regrets.
The oversized fit and perfectly worn-in fabric gave it instant cool factor, so I leaned into it with barrel-leg faded jeans and a braided belt to add a little polish. Chunky silver chain? Always. Puffy gold heart earrings? Required. And those mustard block heels? The real MVP of the outfit.
This was a casual Sunday vibe—lunch, errands, and pretending I know more about football than just the colors that I wore on a Monday. The yellow shoes against the black jeans made everything feel just a little more styled (without actually trying that hard).
File under: sporty, nostalgic, and ready for happy hour even if you don't know the final score.

🎤 Tuesday
Mood: Oops... I Did It Again (but make it brown denim)
Wearing: Abercrombie & Fitch Britney Spears Graphic Tee, Everlane Brown High-Waisted Barrel Jeans, Dark Grey Triangle Necklace (honestly, I’m not sure what else to call it), Missoma Pearl and Gold Drop Earrings, Snakeskin Block Heel Sandals
Listen, I’m not even going to pretend this outfit is wildly different from yesterday’s. Same formula, same energy—just a new main character (and her name is Britney Jean Spears).
To be fair, this graphic tee basically demanded a moment. It’s vintage-feeling, a little grungy, and perfect for pairing with brown denim to make it feel a little less "tour merch" and a little more "cool girl who definitely still owns a CD player."
The snakeskin sandals were my way of pretending I made an effort (even though I was 90% running on coffee). The necklace and pearl earrings added just enough edge and polish without taking it too seriously—because if you’re wearing Britney, you better be having a little fun.
File under: emotionally attached to my graphic tees and proud of it.

🌶️ Wednesday
Mood: Baby Spice, But Make It Bold
Wearing: Madewell Cherry Red Denim Jeans, orange tee (similar), cream tie lace top, mismatched rainbow mules, Olga Berg Alejandra Embellished Top Handle, Missoma Rouje Ella Heart Pearl Drop Stud Earrings, Missoma Box Link Double Chain Necklace, Missoma Ridge Heart Charm Pendant Necklace, Missoma Open Heart Signet Ring
File this one under: “Clashing on Purpose.” I built this outfit around my cherry red jeans—loud, unapologetic, and surprisingly easy to style when you stop trying to tame them. Layered a delicate lace-trimmed camisole over a punchy orange tee, because nothing says I plan my chaos like mixing lingerie energy with camp counselor core.
Then I threw on these earrings—gold, heart-shaped, and studded with candy-colored cabochons, like they were stolen straight from a modern-day Venus. The baroque pearls? Just a little drama to anchor all the color.
The shoes? Rainbow woven mules that remind me of summer craft kits and Otter Pops. The bag? A lavender little darling that makes no sense with the outfit, which is exactly why it works. Color theory is a guideline, not a rule.
This one’s for the maximalists, the moodboarders, the dopamine dressers. I didn’t come to blend in—I came to match my mood.

🌼 Thursday
Mood: Coastal Cowgirl Meets Euro Grandpa
Wearing: Bright blue suede vest (similar), Abercrombie & Fitch Two-Toned Barrel Jeans (similar), Klassy Network Cropped Tee, Sam Edelman Metallic Loafers, Blue Alligator Print Purse (similar), Silver Necklace, Missoma Rouje Ella Heart Pearl Drop Stud Earrings
This look is giving main character energy in a way that feels both intentional and effortless. The powder-blue suede vest is the star here: structured, soft, and slightly nostalgic—like something you'd borrow from your cooler-than-you aunt. (Which tracks, because according to my nieces and nephews, that’s literally me.)
I paired it with a crisp cropped tee and wide-leg denim for a silhouette that’s laid back but still says, I planned this. Silver loafers add just the right amount of chaos sparkle, and the icy croc bag? Uselessly tiny. Deeply iconic.
And the earrings? Same heart-shaped ones from earlier—gold with candy-colored stones and dangling pearls. A little girly, a little gaudy, and totally essential.
Sometimes the best outfits are the ones that quietly flex.

🪖 Friday
Mood: Barbie Goes to Boot Camp
Wearing: Aritzia Camo pants, Hot Pink Bodysuit (similar), Olive Green Moto Jacket, Olga Berg Alejandra Embellished Top Handle, Charlotte Stone Lenu Mismatch Heels, Missoma Jelly Heart Gemstone Charm Necklace, Missoma Ridge Heart Charm Pendant Necklace, Missoma Ridge Oversized Earrings, Missoma Open Heart Signet Ring
The assignment? Camo pants and an olive moto jacket. The plot twist? A hot pink bodysuit and rainbow shoes that have zero interest in blending in. This look is proof that you can be soft and strong, pretty and practical, chaotic and coordinated. Duality at its finest.
I topped it off with my tiny lavender bag (because clashing is an art) and those candy-colored woven sandals that bring me endless serotonin. Plus, I added two pieces of jewelry from Missoma—both featured in the Barbie movie—so the nod to Barbie wasn’t just accidental, it was intentional.
Honestly, it’s giving military Barbie with a dopamine dressing habit—and I’m not even trying to tone it down. Because sometimes getting dressed isn’t about matching—it’s about making a point.

🥾 Saturday AM
Mood: Hike-Adjacent, But Make It Fashion
Wearing: Greyish Jumpsuit (similar), Black Tee, Western Belt (similar), Quince Denim Button-Up, Salomon Sense Ride 5 (similar), Bombas Vintage Stripes Socks, 12th Tribe Bailey Gold and Silver Statement Earrings, Silver and Gold Statement Necklace (similar)
This look lives somewhere between trail-ready and small-town antique store chic. The Salomon sneakers and Bombas socks say, I could summit something, while the distressed overalls and black tee lean more artist-in-residence who forages her own herbs.
I layered in a western belt for contrast—because even practical looks deserve a little flair. The denim button-up is part function, part nostalgia (and ideal for a breeze or a dramatic waist tie moment).
The finishing touches? A chunky necklace and bold vintage-style earrings that add just enough eccentric sparkle to say, Yes, I care about comfort—but I also care about making an entrance at the co-op.
This outfit may be outdoorsy, but she’s not blending in.

🔥 Saturday PM
Mood: Sporty Spice, But She’s On the Board
Wearing: Addidas Track Satin Flair Pants, White Tank (similar), Peacock Green Statement Blazer (similar), Snakeskin Mules, Peacock Green Statement Hoops, Missoma Filia Double Chain Necklace, Aupen Nirvana Noir Purse, Statement Scarf, Vintage Ring
This is what happens when you take your favorite track pants, throw a structured green blazer over them, and suddenly you're the most interesting person in the Zoom room. It’s giving “I run errands in style and I could also run a meeting.”
The base is simple: a fitted tank and wide-leg Adidas pants that keep things grounded (and breathable). Add a tailored blazer for authority, snakeskin heels for texture, and a sculptural black bag that says I read art theory recreationally—even though, for the record, I do not.
Gold jewelry, emerald hoops, and a vintage-looking ring pull the look together without trying too hard. Basically, if a gallery opening and a soccer match had a fashionable baby, this would be it.
Because real range is pairing gym-core with a power move.

💌 Sunday
Mood: Museum Guide on Her Day Off
Wearing: Never Fully Dressed Midi Dress (similar), Black Mesh Ballet Flats, Olga Berg Alejandra Embellished Top Handle, Statement Silver Earrings
This dress has vintage wallpaper energy in the best possible way—bold swirls of blush, mint, navy, and sky blue that feel like a modern art exhibit you can wear. It’s a wrap dress, but make it graphic. The structured lavender mini bag adds just enough contrast without competing for attention (she knows her role and plays it well).
Mesh Mary Janes keep the look grounded while still feeling playful, and the statement earrings add a little architectural edge. It’s the kind of outfit that says, I have strong opinions on color theory, but also yes, I’d love a lavender latte.
It’s bright, it’s intentional, and it definitely didn’t come to blend in.

✨ Wrap-Up
This past Sunday—yes, Museum Guide on Her Day Off Sunday—I had a thought.
One day, you won’t be able to do this. Not just the outfits, but the movement. Maybe I won’t be able to wear the heels I love, or run, or even dance like nobody’s watching. And it hit me: now is the time. Now is the time to wear the bright clothes. To put on the statement earrings. To wear the too-high heels to the grocery store and carry the too-small purse, simply because it makes me happy.
Life is short, and we never really know how much time we have. I used to live in leggings and sweatpants every day—and there’s nothing wrong with that—but I love getting dressed up. I love bold prints, weird accessories, and, as Chris always reminds me, my favorite phrase: “a nice pop of color.”
So I’m going to keep doing it. I’m going to keep showing up for myself, in technicolor. I’m going to dance in the street, or my kitchen, or wherever the moment and movement finds me. I’m going to wear something slightly ridiculous every day of the week if I want, just because it sparks joy.
Because I want to know I made the most of it while I could. And that it didn’t matter if I wasn’t the size I wanted to be, or if I thought someone else wouldn’t like it, or if something might not be trendy. I want to do it simply because I want to.
If you’re reading this and thinking, “I want to start dressing more like myself again,” then consider this your nudge.
